We met Will & Emily a few months ago to talk about their wedding day next September. They're both super nice and super excited about their wedding day. They're planning on a beautiful and intimate backyard wedding in Rocky River and I'm super pumped about it because I haven't had the chance to do a backyard wedding yet!
They decided on going to the E 9th Street Pier in Cleveland for their engagement session and I'm so glad we did. I actually hadn't been down there before and I really love that area. We got some amazing light and walked around the pier and the pretty green area. They were a bit nervous for their session at firs, just like everyone usually is. But they found their rhythm super quick and were naturals for the rest of the session.
I know how awkward it can be to have your photos taken and that's why I like to have them be as long as they need to be. Some couples are super comfortable in front of the camera and some people take a little bit of time to warm up! It's all good with me. I like to take that time to get to know you two a bit more and watch how you interact with each other. Plus, this is great practice for the wedding day and it makes grooms especially feel more comfortable being photographed on their wedding day.
