FAQ

Where are you located & do you travel?

I'm located in Cleveland, Ohio and travel all over Ohio for weddings. If your wedding is taking place further than a 20 miles radius from Cleveland, some travel fees may apply. 

My passport is ready to go if you've got a wedding out of state or better yet, out of the US. Just shoot me a message and let's chat about it!

Do you offer albums?

Yessss! Albums are my favorite and my number one hope is that every one of my couples gets an album to showcase their gorgeous wedding. An album is included in my 10 hour wedding day collection and is also available to be purchased A La Carte. I design ever album with a whole lot of love and a whole lot of care. I want your album to tell the perfect story of your wedding day. 

Do you book more than one wedding per day?

Absolutely not! I only take on 2 weddings per month and only one wedding per day. I give my couples my absolute attention and I am there for them. I don't take on a ton of weddings per year because I want my couples to be more than just clients. By taking on less weddings, I am able to offer more attention to my couples.

What is your photographic style?

I like to explain my photographic style as classic, clean and timeless. I want your photos to take you right back to your wedding day when you're looking at them next year or even 15 years from now. Your bouquet will look just like it did the day of your wedding in your photos. I don't overly edit any photos and I try my hardest to get all my photos technically correct in camera. 

Do you have backup gear? What about liability insurance?

Yes & yes! I photograph wedding days with 2 separate camera bodies, have multiple lenses, flashes and I'm prepared for whatever might happen on a wedding day. I have liability insurance, which a lot of wedding venues require.

We love your photography! How do we book?

Fill out a form on my website and I will be getting a hold of you shortly! I like to have a consultation and meet every couple before booking because I truly believe that for you to have the best experience with a wedding photographer you need to be able to get along with them. Consultations usually last about an hour and I get to ask you all the personal questions about how you met and how he/she proposed. I want to know about your venue and your bridal party and what you're hoping your day will be like.

A 30% retainer and signed contract is due to officially book your wedding date with me. 

Should we have an engagement session?

Now, this is totally up to you but I love engagement sessions. It gives me some more time with you two before the wedding to get to know you and it gives you the time to feel more comfortable in front of the camera. The poses we will be doing for your engagement session will be some of the same ones that will happen on your wedding day, so you'll have practice!

Engagement sessions with me are not necessarily timed although they usually last around 1.5 to 2 hours. You can bring some outfit changes and we can definitely go to more than just one location.

Do you have a second photographer on the wedding day?

Yes, I do! A second photographer is included in my 10 hour wedding day collection and is available to be added on to the other collections. My second photographer happens to be my husband, Marcus, and we work super well together. (You'll meet him during the consultation or your engagement session!)

Having a second photographer there on the day of your wedding is SO helpful because as much as I would like to, I can't be in two places at once. So having a second photographer to capture different angles and be in a different place all together will help us tell the story of your wedding day better.
